About the event
Grow Your Own Tea Garden: This hands-on workshop will include information on choosing the best plants for your tea garden and tips for designing a tea garden (with a tour of the Tantivy Farm tea garden) followed by an interactive lesson in tea blending that will include understanding the flavors, aromas and health benefits of various teas and herbs, experimenting with flavor profiles and mixing your own one-ounce custom tea blend to take home. Jodi Helmer, author of Growing Your Own Tea Garden, will lead the class and offer lots of tips and recipes for using fresh ingredients to make delicious hot and iced teas at home.
